Meet Lisa, the heart and soul behind Polished & Chic.
From a young age, Lisa’s love for the world of cosmetology and sharing it with the community has been the driving force behind her dream of establishing a salon that offers clients a place to feel good about themselves.
Her vision became reality in 2009 when she succeeded in opening her salon with a variety of offerings including hairstyling, waxing, accessorizing, and of course her own specialty, LCN gel manicuring.
Lisa’s dedication and devotion to her business, clients and growing team led her to move Polished & Chic to its larger Hillsdale home in 2022.
Lisa’s passion is palpable the moment you cross the the threshold into Polished and Chic. Her love and pride is visible in every detail, from the design elements of the salon, to the carefully selected products used within it. The atmosphere is warm and upbeat.
She is grateful for her experienced and talented team, and for each and every client who walks in the door.

Her commitment to continuous education and her ability to really listen ensures she exceeds expectations using cutting-edge techniques. Specializing in color, blonding, and extensions, she transforms hair with finesse. From subtle highlights to vibrant overall blondes, Debbie caters to diverse styles, mastering both short and fine hair to long and voluminous locks.

Meet MaryAnn, a seasoned hairstylist with 30+ years of experience. Specializing in techniques like highlighting, lowlights, balayage, and versatile cuts for both short and long hair, she seamlessly blends modern flair with classic styles. MaryAnn is passionate about maintaining hair health and shine through various deep conditioning treatments, and she extends her knowledge to services like Keratin and Brazilian Blowout. With a flair for fantasy-colored hair, MaryAnn is dedicated to pleasing every client, combining a friendly demeanor with genuine care for beautiful results. Beyond the salon, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially during Football Sundays.
Meet Christian, a seasoned stylist with over 13 years of passion-infused experience. Embracing a feisty flair, Christian is dedicated to serving the LGBTQIA+ community. Specializing in tape-in extensions, gender-affirming haircuts, vibrant fantasy colors, highlights, lived-in color, and smoothing treatments, he’s a go-to for transforming hair fantasies into reality.
Christian’s expertise extends to bridal and special effects makeup, and he’s no stranger to creating iconic looks for the Real Housewives of New Jersey.
